  • PPro 1.0 upgrade issues?

I’ve been using PPro 1.0 since it came out, but since I had so many issues trying to re-edit 6.5 and 6.0 projects on PPro, I’m gun shy about upgrading.

So now that CS3 is on the horizon, can anyone tell me if they have issues running/working on 1.0 projects in either 1.5 or 2.0?

Also, suggestions a PC system for all this?

Thanks for any and all suggestions.

I would continue to edit projects in the version of software that created them. However, I have not seen problems editing earlier version projects in Premiere Pro 2.0 – but I have never tried editing 6.5 projects in Premiere Pro because they really are two different programs.

Hmm. Hadn’t thought of that. So keep PPro 1.0 on the HD until I flush those projects out for good? OK. Sounds logical enough.

    Thanks!

Until I changed PCs recently, I had Premiere 6.0 and 6.5, Premiere Pro 1.0. 1.5.1 and 2.0 all on one PC.
