    Hello,

Wondering why every now and then when i have already
rendered my timeline, the image of rendered clips can stay stuck. Timeline shows the green rendered line, sound is ok and the marker is moving but the image in program monitor is stuck.. And it can be just a few seconds of a clip or the whole clip. Only way to get it working is to cut the clip to a several pieces and make them unrendered and render again in smaller parts. And that only works sometimes and is very annoying ‘cos something has to be changed in order to get it unrendered.

In the rendering process i have noticed that the program jumps ahead
those parts that doesen’t work -rendering starts but skips those unworking frames leaving the timeline green and with the stuck image.

    I’m editing 1920×1080 ex-1 clips

    Any ideas?

Sounds like the file is corrupted in some way so the render holds the frame when it hits the problem sector of the file. Making the file offline, saving then closing ppro, reopening ppro then delinking the file can sometimes fix a poor indexing cache. But let it index and conform before you use start editing again.
