PPCC – Is there any way to link to unmatched filenames.
I won’t even try to explain why I gotta do this but I just gotta do it.
Is it even possible to relink a clip to a file (exact copy) that has a very different name?

If the exact copy has identical reel and timecode info that could be automated.

yep. One of the first things I tried was linking to reel & timecode. no dice, wouldn’t link it even though the file was clearly there and the reel & timecode matched up.
no worrys, I got em all linked manually and am cutting now.
