  PP CS6 import problems

  Hi All,

  I did a quick search but couldnt find anything that resembled what I am experiencing. I am new to PP but like many have been giving it renewed consideration. I have been editing a home video that is AVC HD based and I have imported a bunch of clips and 2 directories. All fine and edited about 12 mins. Now I want to import the next directory but it hangs and crashes.Interestingly, the directory has a bunch of .cfa and .pek files that I am not familiar with. There is also 1 clip that is only a few frames long. Am I alone here or does somebody know why I am having this problem? Looking forward and thanks in anticipation.
