  PP CS6 264 export rewrapped MOV stutters in re-import in PP

  Hi All

  I have a PAL DV interlace lower sequence I am exporting at 1024×576 to a 264 file. The final file required is a QT but when you export an interlaced sequence from PP in QT the rendered file has a progressive flag even though the file is still progressive.

  So I render a 264 then use FFMPEG to re-wrap the 264 to MOV. This file plays fine in WMP & VLC but if you re-import into Premiere it starts to play fine but then stutters. Re-importing the rendered 264 plays back fine.

  If I render the sequence as QT MOV from Premiere it re-imports fine but has a progressive flag on the file.

  Anyone come across this?
