PP and Mov File Codecs
Hi All
I have just started video editing again after a long hiatus.
I am running PP cs5 (win 64) and have main concept codec suite 5.1.
I have some mov files sent to me to be edited that are encoded with XDCAM. I can’t play these files through quicktime or any other player except vlc (QT tells me additional codec is needed and to download, then sends me to the downloads page with no indication which one(s) I need.
Even with MC 5.1 quicktime won’t import these mov files.
I’ve tried to use procoder to help, but it’s just giving me a white video.
Any help would be really appreciated.

Sorry – that should have read – *Even with MC 5.1 premiere pro won’t import these mov files.
