PP 5.5 Freezes on export…
I am exporting a two hour video. Lots of layers, tracks…
Twice now I have attempted to export H.264 over night and the project freezes. Just to clarify: it’s not unresponsive… it’s just not doing anything. It has now been on 76% completion for an hour with no further progress.
It is being encoded onto a 1TB external HDD drive which is mostly free of space…
Does anybody know what is happening / have they seen this issue before? Thak You

I just tried exporting as Microsoft AVI, after a few hours I checked in on the PC and was greeted by an error message: “not enough disc space”. As mentioned, I am exporting to a free 1TB drive so it isn’t a space issue at all…

What file size is the export stuck at? (Look at the incomplete file on the drive.)
How is that drive formatted?
System:
Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
Win 7 64-bit
32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2014 (as of 7/2015)
256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from HD MP4 and P2 MXF.
