  Posting Reflecmedia Chroma Key

  I’m posting a show that is being shot with the Reflecmedia’s green screen system. So far I’m having trouble getting a good matte.

  The main problem seems to be that the system leaves a shadow around the entire subject. This is tough to deal with in the hair and in tight spots between fingers.

  I’m also not sure how to deal with the green circle that shows up in the subject’s glasses.

  My last issue, and the mist mysterious, is that the footage looks a little grainy.

  I have not been on the shoot, but I know that the DP is very experienced (though not with Reflecmedia’s system) and they are shooting with a Varicam at DVCPro HD 720p24.

  In post I am using a quad core 3GHz running FCP 6.0.5. I have DV Garage’s DV Matte Pro and have downloaded a trial version of Boris Continuum and have tried both.

  Any advice would be helpful.
