    Hello,

I would like to change the poster frame for my Premiere Pro project so that by the time the project has been through Media Encoder and will be viewed by others — the frame of my choosing is what they see first, before they start to play the project. Right now, it is not a frame of my choosing — it is a frame from later in the video. It is not a good way to present the project. —

I have tried all the recommendations that I can find here and in Adobe Help. None of them are working for me! I do not know what I am doing wrong!

When I click on the entire project in the project window, and scrub through the video of the project that is in the little window, and then stop on the frame I want to be the poster frame —– it is not possible to click on the icon for poster frame above the play button. It is not an option, it is not highlighted/able.

I am using a mac. When I Control Click on the video in the viewer in the project window — then the Set Poster Frame option in the menu is not clickable, is not an option, is not highlighted/able.

    Can any one advise, please?

    Thank you!

    Kathie
