    Hi all

This might be an easy answer. How do you render a pass of Post effects(glows) and reflections on a floor with an alpha.

    thanks

Reflections do not generate Alpha (as they are always spreading across the entire scene, their Alpah is identical to the object Alpha; even “black” areas are reflection in strict terms of the renderer) and Glows do not reflect. They should have a proper Alpah, though, and if you render the post effects to a separate layer under multipass it will be there.

I tried turning on the post effects but it did not give me any alpha for the reflection. Basically I am trying to get a reflection on the floor, but render just the reflection and not the actual floor.
