    Hello,

I far as I can tell, you can only render HD files in vegas as .WMV files (Windows Video). The Quicktime (.mov and .mp4) render options seem to only offer lesser quality renders. Am I correct? I’m just trying to determine what render format will provide me with the best-quality finished product for viewing my HDV footage on my computer/internet. Someone told me that Quicktime usually looks the best but I am unable to figure out how to create HD files in QuickTime.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I render HDV to DivX, WMV, H.264 (select “Custom” and add your own presets) etc.
