  Possible to convert from wav 24bit to wav or aif 16bit and preserve all channels?

  I’m trying to go from 24bit to 16bit in an audio file and preserve the eight mono channels. Compressor always converts to stereo. Is there a pass-through option in audio conversion (like there is for audio in video) that preserves the original channels?
