Change 'Collect Files' process and structure?
We’re running into archival issues, where our storage requires the non-use compliance of non-standard characters…this is often counter to how AE saves and structures collected files.
While we have external scripts that run checks, it isn’t always foolproof, and we feel it would be best managed “at the source”.Is there a way that anyone has used or discovered that would allow some customisation of collecting files of finished comps/projects?
Pending replies, I figure this will only become more of an issue as we progress to Cloud storage, so it’d be a nice feature for Adobe to implement at some point too. -

There are no options for customizing how Ae collects files. I think you’d have to replace the Collect Files function with your own custom script to enforce the naming conventions you’d like.

I agree, seems like a custom script will be the way to go *sigh*
