Is it possible to change the default timeline color in premiere from black to another color?

I need alot of white cut frames in my piece, and instead of having to add solids on top of my main layer, it would be better if simply having no video on my layer would show white, instead if black….

    possible?

NO that would not be possible because the timeline is effectively an alpha chanel

Why not just Create a White (or whatever color) matte and lay it on Video Track one as long as you need it for then Work on vid tracks above

Yup. Thats what I neded up doing,……… I was just hoping that maybe similar to AE,…you could change the BG color,…and it would only be an ‘alpha’ if you needed it to be.

    No big deal….

    Thanks for the help!
