Possible Retime bug
Okay hurrah we hit 52% (or anything you like) in custom retime and if we leave “Ripple” unchecked” the clip will not expand in length.
But now check the “Duration” box and make a change.
Then go back to Set Speed Rate and even with Ripple box unchecked it ripples according to the rate change. It’s like having played with the other setting it has toggled Ripple mode on and you cannot toggle it off again for that clip in the timeline.
Now hit 50% with Ripple unchecked. Then 100% with ripple still unchecked. In my version it ripples back leaving a gap.
Or hit 200% and does your gap close or does it create a gap? With mine an increase in speed results in a ripple edit.
Or is it just me?
