possible for a ‘text field’ to pull information from a cell on an external spreadsheet?
as an example, i’ve got 10 separate 5 digit numbers that i use on 3 different motion docs.
any way i could put these numbers on a spreadsheet each in their own cell and have each of the 3 motion docs link right to the number?
also, these 10 separate 5 digit numbers- these change once a week and therefor the 3 motion docs need to be changed once a week as well.

If I recall correctly, then someone in my Motion FB-group built a script of sorts that does this for names in titles, so essentially the same thing. Unfortunately I can’t find it off the bat. You might want to try just asking there: https://www.facebook.com/groups/apple.motion/
There’s certainly no way with just the onboard toolset.
