Position Value Graph – No Bezier Handles??!!!
I prefer the “edit value graph” rather then “speed graph” when tweeking my position speeds but I can’t get the bezier to work on the value graph. Yes I can ease in and out but every time I try to pull out a handle it doesn’t. How can I custmize my bezier in my value graph under position?

No for some reason they dont work on the transformations 🙁
All the other properties can go in full bezier.. Like I requested here few times.
I’m not gonna get into that again. But its strange they make a difference between pos/rot/size and all the other. -
position beziers are not available in the graph editor, but they are available in the comp window. i’m not much of a 3D guy but i’m wondering what the difference is. whether in the position graph or in the comp window, you would be changing the shape of the path. I guess some moves would be easier in the graph, but for me I need to see in the composition where the layers are moving and I can not visualize that very well with a graph…

I am assuming we are taking about AE 7 here. If so, you can sort of get bezier handles for position keyframes. Go to the ‘Effects & Presets’ pallete and type ‘separate XYZ position’ into the search box. An animation preset should come up called ‘separate XYZ position’. Apply this preset to the layer you want to postion and a new effect will now be associated with that layer. Now set your postion keyframes from within this new effect and not only will be able to get bezier handles on your animation curves, but you will also be able to set separate keyframes for X,Y,&Z…which is defintely a huge plus. The only wierd thing is that you will now be controlling the positioning of this layer via this effect.

Great. Those are the controls I WANT so bad for position. Would be great if rot/size is possible to!?
Only problem is that you dont have the Bezier handles in comp window to alter the path! You just dont SEE the motion path. Is there a way to show it?

My bad. Of course are rotiation and size also full bezier!
