  • position data from Mocha-AE out of position in AE

I tried to track my (prepared) finger in Mocha-AE. So far, so good. But when I use the data (posotion only) in AE, my keyframes are way out of position. When I drag all of the keyframes to the right position, they are still a bit out of position. In Mocha it all looks fine.
By the way, I created a 3 point bezier layer to track my finger. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance!

You have problem with fields. In mocha you must send footage
without fields and all will be nice.. I have same problem before and now all is ok.

Double check that you have only applied position. You may have got anchor point data in there too, which would throw it off.

FWIW I have used interlaced footage on many occasions without any mischief occurring. That’s in Mocha though and not Mocha AE, though I’d be surprised if there was that big a difference between them in something that fundamental.

    Cheers,
    Ben

I agree with you on that point, Ben. Mocha-AE should be able to track interlaced footage properly. All the settings can be used for interlaced footage. But well, Spidermans hint works. So I’m happy for now.
