I realize my question was a bit specific with regards to the equipment. Generally, what is the best way to diffuse these types of lights when attached to a camera in a run-and-gun type scenario? What is the best way to approach setting the color temperature? What do you base it on?

    Thanks.

You match the colour temp to the lights in the room.

I wouldn’t bother with an on-camera light though, personally. I’d expect a delivery room to be well lit. Even if it isn’t, I’d rather have a bit of extra noise than ugly on-camera light.
