    Im trying to apply a smooth rounded 3d effect to some expanded text, but as you can see from the GIF below, it doesnt cover the whole font, leaving parts transparent. Seems to lessen the larger I make the font. Anyone got any ideas why its doing this? Its Windows Vista and CS3. Many thanks! Chris

    That’s just how it is. It’s AI. Many times it produces bad rendering. Just change the rotation of the object a tad and eventually it should correct itself.

    For best results use a 3D program or try PathStyler Pro

    Ok thanks I will check out pathstyler. Im certainly learning the limitations of CS3!
