My company is trying to use Adobe Premiere in a non-traditional way for our training simulator.

We are creating .AVI files of screen-scrapes at a resolution of 3840×1024 (3-monitors wide). We want to import the .AVI files into Premiere and play them back in the Program Pane (I can’t remember if this is what it is called). We will then switch back and forth between different .AVI files to review what other trainees were doing at the same time.

The problem is the image quality is terrible in the Program Pane. It looks like low resolution. However, I used a utility that does nothing but views .AVIs and it looked great.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Premiere does not preview video in full quality, it does an approximation based on the type of video and your hardware.

Thank you. Do you have any suggestions on an application that might be able to do this for us?
