    Hello all,

Working on a new series that is all C300 so we are doing audio a little different then our normal.

To cam we are sendng a stereo mix as a guide track in the field. Then we are recording 8 to 16 Isolated tracks to the bag.

In Avid we auto sync all the field audio so when Editors are cutting they can drop down in the clip and select the track they want.

The struggle I’m having is a work flow to get all discreet channels exported in AAF and to Pro Tools. I’m finding a lot of info Pro Tools side but not Avids side.

First thought is to not commit multi Cam for Audio AAF?

Second is to not chose enabled tracks in AAF export?

    Thanks for the help

If you need all of those audio files in an AAF, then the editors need to add ALL of those tracks to the timeline. This is what I do…we’ll have 6-10 tracks of audio, separate mics, and then we’ll mute (lower the audio) on all the tracks we don’t want to focus on. This way they all get carried over in the AAF.
