Hi there, I’m having a weird problem with my point lights in AE. Forgive me if I have a hard time explaining this, but the point lights are not behaving properly with the perspective of the camera. From top view, the light cast is a nice round circle, but if I change perspective of the camera, the light cast becomes broken into almost 3 beams that don’t behave like real world and actually follow the perspective of the camera. I’ve attached some images to illustrate. I’m not having the problem with spot lights, the cast stays perfectly smooth and in perspective with the camera.

I’m wondering if something became corrupted with AE. I can’t remember because I didn’t pay attention before the problem, but when I go to add a point light, shouldn’t Cone Angle be grayed out? Instead it gives me all the same options as a spot light.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks
    Justin
