  • PNG sequence export to mp4 lagging

Hi, I made 3D animation in 3DS Max and rendered it to PNG sequence. After that I imported it to the AAE and rendered to mp4 – H264. But I still see little lagging in exported video and I don’t know how to solve this problem. Here is my video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CP6JKMZcvvU

Composition settings in AAE is set to progressive 25 fps, 1920×1080.

Does anybody know, how to create smoother result than this?

Thanks for any advices and sorry for my english – I’m from Czech Republic :-/

Make sure your image sequence from 3ds Max is interpreted at 25fps in your project window. To check this, look at the top of your project window with the sequence in question selected, and you will see the fps.

If it is set to import image sequences by default at let’s say 30 fps or 24fps, and your comp is at 25fps, you will see a stutter.

That’s it!!! Thank you very much! I’ve changed assumed framerate to 25fps and now it’s seems to be smoother! Thanks for quick response!
