PNG into avid
I an trying to import a PNG w/Alpha into Avid Media Composer and once inported,
the file is all messed up. does avid just not work well with PNG files? -

Yes Avid works with PNG. I import them daily. Check your import settings.

Could you define “all messed up”? I’m guessing you forgot to check “invert existing alpha” when you imported the files. Otherwise, you may have interpreted pixel/aspect ratio incorrectly. PNGs are a darling to work with in Avid. 🙂
