.png cutting in too soon
Hi – I’m creating a short promotional video, in which I have inserted a .png of a logo with a transparent background at the end. Instead of coming in at the point that I specified about 4 seconds before the end, it cuts in about 8 seconds beforehand, overwriting previous content. Strangely, this only happens when I upload it to Vimeo or play it as a .ogv file in a web browser. It works perfectly when I play it in quicktime. Any ideas why this is happening?

Thanks for the suggestion. I nested the whole sequence and the problem persisted. Then I turned off the “Optimize Stills” option – problem solved. Apparently that feature turns stills into a single frame, instead of capturing the full 24 frames a second. It is supposed to save space (the file was .5 meg bigger when I turned it off) but for some reason it was getting the timing wrong. Good to know!
