  PMW-200 and SDHC adapters

  If anyone already has experience with the Sony PMW-200 using SDHC adapters, please post/reply here.

  Here is the information, that I have got so far:

  MXM writes: “Yes it does with the PMW200, however, Sony will only allow it to work in 4.2.0 and NOT 4.2.2 mode.
  There is a possibility in the future that Sony may change this with a firmware upgrade.”

  Sonnet: “As Sonnet has not been able to test the Sonnet – SDHC Adapter for SxS Camera Slot: SDHC Memory Card Adapter for Use in Sony XDCAM Camcorders Which Use SxS Media with the PMW-200 we cannot promise compatibility, if it is the replacement for the Sony PMW-EX1R then it should work providing the PMW-200 is running the latest firmware.”

  Hoodman: “Our SXS Adapter will only work with this camera in the FAT 32 record mode (XD CAM). It will not work in the UDF record mode.”
