For whatever reason I have plus signs on all my clips. I have one long QuickTime movie that I’m creating clips in the timeline from. When I bring in a clip to the timeline there is a plus sign (+) at the beginning of the clip. They play fine, clip to clip, but when I put transitions in, there is some very fast frame or frames from the first clip which appears in the second clip… This never happened to me before. Of course I’m on a deadline project!

I’m working on a MacBook Pro, OS 10.5.8, FCP 7.0.2.

There are many clips in the timeline which play perfectly without transitions. Once I place any transition it seems to start okay but then at right at the end of the transition it seems to pull a frame from the previous clip so the continuity of broken. The clips came from .vob files from a DVD that was provided to me from the videographer. I converted to .mov using MPEG Streamclip.

Please let me know if any additional information is needed.

    Thanks.
