Plugins not previewing in FCPX trial 11.1 – Effects & Transitions only
Hi everyone,
I’m running Final Cut Pro X 11.1 (trial version, 90 days) on a Mac M2 Pro.
I’ve installed a plugin bundle from fcpxfullaccess.com (“The Ultimate Bundle”) and manually copied the Effects into the correct Motion Templates folder (
/Movies/Motion Templates.localized/Effects/).In FCPX, the Effects and Transitions categories from the new plugins are listed – I can see the names – but when I click on any of them, no preview appears on the right side. I also cannot apply them. It’s like they are empty.
On the other hand:
– Titles, Generators, and LUTs from the same bundle work perfectly
– No error messages
– Other (default) Apple effects are working fine
Does anyone know if this could be related to:
1. Trial version limitations?
2. M2 Pro chip compatibility?
3. Or a plugin structure issue (something missing from the template folders)?
Any help or similar experience would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, It is hard to say what could be the problem. But first, did you contact them for support?
They have 2 videos about this issue, I guess you watched those. It should be better to ask for support.
