  • Plugin for animating logos, objects etc.

Lets say I have a logo and I want to animate it in a cool (simple) way, but I dont want to do it manually because I am in a hurry (I am not talking about animating individual elements of the logo, I just mean animating the whole object, finished logo as a whole). I would like to have some presets for this. Is there a plugin for Vegas that can do this?

I tried to use Sony Vegas transisions and it look good, but the movement doesnt look natural, because there is no ease in and ease out (I mean slower beginning and ending of the movement).

If you have the logo as an EPS file or Adobe Illustrator file, you can use Boris FX BCC Extruded EPS to bring the logo to life as a true 3D object. Then you could animate it in 3D space and it will have depth like a real “object”.

John – you make it sound so easy. So, when do we get to see more BCC tutorials?

I am wondering if I can use NewBlue Pro Titler for my purpose.

You can use NBT by importing the logo as an image file.

[Stephen Mann] “you make it sound so easy.”

I understand it’s only easy if you know how. 😉

[Stephen Mann] “So, when do we get to see more BCC tutorials?”

What would you like to see next? Anything in particular?

John, I know so little about using BCC8 that I don’t know what I don’t know.

Pixel Chooser is still a mystery.

    John –

I know this may be a little more specific than just Boris, but last year I purchased Boris Graffiti 6 to do similar things with titling and am struggling mightily.

What are the chances of a Graffiti tutorial?

Graffiti is built into Boris RED and I have done Boris RED training so this may be possible. What in particular are you having trouble with? Extruding 3D objects? 3D text?
