I have an EX-1 and would like to use a Computer LCD Monitor as an on-set monitor for the talent (ie. not for referencing). The monitor has HDMI, DVI-D, and VGA connections. What’s the best way to get the EX-1 hooked up to it with these options?

    SDI to HDMI miniconverter.

…or you could check to see if the monitor has a component video input (component – Y/Pb/Pr, not composite). You’ll get full HD straight from the camera. If it doesn’t have a component in, you can get a good sized HD set that does have component input for about the same money as a converter – ‘course then you won’t have the conveter for other uses.
