    Plug-ins for Vegas8?

    Hi,

    I know the question is rather general, but what third party plug-ins would you recommend for V8?

    I’d be interested in graphics and text animation plug-ins. Animated background plug-ins would be great too!

    can’t beat excalibur for general purpose utilities and short cuts… great support too from edward.

    am using heroglyph along with built in cg. it’s a bit clunky in many ways, but some of the effects are prety good and ready to go…

    They’re not plug-ins but the various products from Digital Juice make great animated backdrops.
    Check out the Jump Backs collections and the new Power Cuts set.
    There’s always sales on a lot of these products allowing you to buy them for far less than list price.

    Perhaps I’m missing something here. It seems to me that most of the effects of these plug-ins can be created just using Vegas itself, if you know what you’re doing.
