I’ve worked on Sony Vegas Pro, and used the wonderful script plug in Vegasaur (not as odd a name as you might think, since Vegas files are called VEG files). The script allows you to easily add text in many different ways automatically to a new track. You can add subtitles, captions, timecode, etc. While I’ll likely use it on Vegas for some time to come, more of my projects these days are being done in Premiere.

Does anyone (Anne?) know if there is a similar kind of plug in available for Premiere 6.0?

So the goal is to have an automated tool to add this kind of thing without manually going through the normal steps in Pr to add a bunch of text to many tracks, clips etc.

I can’t seem to find such a tool in a casual look. Maybe someone is using one.

    Thanks in advance.

I know. I’m talking about automating adding various titles. See vegasaur feature list to better understand. But looking at Adobe’s partner web site it does not seem that there is such an add on. Worse case is I export files to mxf bring them into Vegas and the run Veg. Buti might be missing something in Pr.
