My problem is that i want to use plexus effect ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6JRQl2Dh5E ) just like in this video but not using font or text. I want to create the same animation but with image.
Is it even possible? Or maybe i should render image to other type of file ? .ai?

Please help me! I search almost whole internet to find the answer :c

    Thank you!

You can use an AI file by copying the paths in AI and pasting them into After Effects. You can’t just use an image file with Plexus.

[Dawid Raźny] “How to make .obj file from image”

You…um…can’t. An OBJ is a 3d model file format. I mean, somebody could make an OBJ from an image, but they’d have to be a pretty good 3d modeler! It’s one of those things where, if you have to ask, the answer is “no”.

[Dawid Raźny] “Btw. How to make .obj file from image? :)”

Like Michael said, you wouldn’t. But you could find a ready-made 3D model in .obj format that looked like the image you are trying to create, depending on what it is.
