    Hello blackmagic-team,

Please modify the 4 Channel audio-capture in premiere pro 2.0.
the problem is: i am working with a sony digibeta-recorder and my daily business
is to capture and play out 4 cannel audio to tape independly. why is it not possible to capture and playout SDI-channel 3/4 only from a digibeta whitout the “5.1-Surround-capture and playout-workaround “? it is not really easy to handle.
every professional editing software which i use like avid media-composer, matrox axio and PPRO, and pinnacle liquid blue can do that!
What i need is a “channel 3/4 only” capture-option in premiere and a mixer-setup-matrix in premiere which allows you to root every audio-track from a sequence independetly to SDI-Channel 1, 2, 3 and 4 without using the “5.1 Surround-workaround” .furthermore it would be nice if there is a audio-routing-matrix for the decklink spdif-audio-mointor.it is realy boring if you switch an audio-track via 5.1-Setup to SDI-channel 3/4 and you cant hear it anymore via SPDIF because the only option is to monitor the audiosignal 1/2 or 3/4
(i think many people which are working with a sony digibeta-recorder want this too)
A friend told me that these options and possibilities of independend- audio-Routing are integrated in Final Cut Pro/decklink-hardware . So why is it not possible to integrate these functions in Premiere Pro ?

sorry for my horrible english 🙂

    Hi,

jepp, i have exact the same problem.
With the new Digi-Bete DVW-970, many camera-crews are now
using channel 3 and 4 for the atmo-sound.
And the only way to caputre it in PPro is via 5.1
    And then, it isn
