So my company always shoots dvcpro HD 720p60. Every time that I capture the footage and try to play it back, I have stuttering problems. The frames stick! What am I doing wrong? I am running FCP 4.5 on a dual 2.0 G5. This happens using both G-Raid and Medea SCSI raids. When I cut in this format using fcp5 it played smoothly. Isn’t 4.5 supposed to handle the codec fine? I don’t get it. I cannot put fcp5 on my computer because it causes other problems with our capture card. PLEASE HELP.

    Thank You,
    -Eli Mavros

Are you capturing over firewire or through your capture card, and what capture card is it.
Also try turning off your external monitoring if it is incapable of playing back HD 720@60.
    Matthew.
