    Hey folk,

    Please can you help us work out why Premiere Pro 1.5 keeps losing sound for a certain clip on one of my pupils GCSE project. Here are the facts: It’s a 10 min clip thats been used 66 times in the project but only in small segments relating to the story. Premiere plays the sound of several of the segments but then it disapears. They have definately captured the sound for those parts because you can hear it when played in Media player. The total project it about 5 mins in total. Another school technician and I think the problem has arisen because the pupils have dragged the clip on to the timeline and adjusted the in and out points too many times and Premiere can’t load up the sound. Please guys, any ideas? Thanks a lot

    Your assesment of the problem may not be too far off. I have seen reasonably short projects with a project file in excess of 50 MB which can cause Premiere to crash.
    I would try 2 things;
    1. Delete Audio preview files and Media Cache (Edit> Preferences> Scratch Disks).
    2. Failing that, import the corrupt project into a new project.
