PLEASE HELP – Power surge
Please help!
I just finished an edit that took two weeks and I need to have it delivered by tomorrow.
We just had a power surge and the Vegas Pro 8 project lost all of its references to the files. I went through manually and replaced them but it still came back with an error, rejecting some of them.
Most of these files were Upshifted .m2t filesJeff

Whew, dodged another bullet.
I decided to start loading past projects, to try and kick start the Upshift folder. That did the trick. All past projects opened. And then I got to my finished one.
It’s time to render and forget about trying to use New Deshaker this time around.

I would say it’s time to buy an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) with a good built-in serge protector. I’ve got an APC brand unit that has saved me countless times during summer storms (we get a lot of blackouts and surges). I wouldn’t edit without it.
