please help multiple audio problems
Hello all
Ive just begun using cs3 and Im getting multiple problems.
my main problem is that Im getting this error when Im trying to overlay audio
..\..\src\sequence\linkcontainer.cpp-231}
also when I was adding new tracks, it would automatically add three more tracks by itself. Whenever I try to delet a track, i get another error message and it shuts down automatically.
Please help, this is driving me crazy..

Just some random thoughts…
Ideally, imported audio files should match the format of the project – 44.1, 16 bit, stereo, as an example.
So, take the time to pre-process your audio clips before importing into Premiere – this also helps to fix sync issues. 🙂
Premiere will automatically add tracks that do not fit into your preset. Which is to say, if you’re setup to use stereo audio, any mono clips would force Premiere to add a mono track. I’ve never used 5.1 audio, but I imagine that adding that sort of clip would do the same thing.As far as the errors, I am unsure.
It may help to start with a new project, as you may now have a corrupted project file.

Thanks for the reply Vince. I’m sorry if I sound like I don’t know what Im talking about(thats probably because I dont:) So I finally figured out how to pre process, but since I dont know much about audio, Im not sure what I shot my audio settings with…is there any way I can find out from the clips in my computer be it that the DP erased it from the P2 card?

Again, the ideal settings for pre-processing your audio is matching them to the output settings in your video project.
