Please help me with export.
Hello everybody
I am really desperate at the moment. I am trying to export the whole movie from Avid Xpress Pro.It’s around 10 clips (spliced in from the source one) joined together with diferent effects added on (color corections,motion effect..)
I need to export it with the best quality possible,so I could burn it on DVD later on.
I have tried a lot of diferent settings and the quality is still not the best.
When I export as a Avi – it seems to be perfect , but there is some 1,86 GB limit which is easly riched after 7 minutes of exporting.Then I have tried QT movie using diferent codecs.Sorensen codec seems to be the best but not where the motion effect (125% speed) has been added …..
As I said – I have tried a lot of settings and nothing seems to work fine.
I really do need someone to tell me what settings are the best in order to get a nice looking video.I look forward to hearing from you

Your best bet is to export as QT reference, then encode in Sorenson. You may want to do a video mixdown first to facilitate the encode process.

Thanks Jon – I will try to do this, but if you have more ideas please do let me know or tell me waht you do in order to get a good quality video.
