  • Please Help, expression to access folders containing stills?

    Hi All,

I want to create an expression that accesses a folder containing stills, with a slider where i can adjust the duration, maybe even tied to sound keyframes.

    Any Ideas or suggestions?

    Thanks a bunch.

It’s not clear exactly what you’re trying to do, but you can’t access folders with an expression. You’d need a script to do that.

If all the files are the same size & file-format, you can import the folder as an image-sequence (use force alphabetical order).
Then you can keyframe the time-remapping function (presum. with hold keyframes) to choose wich frame ie. wich file from the folder is visible.

If you can specify what exactly the effect is you need with the sliders or soundkeys, we could suggest an expression.

    Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion Filip, that folder/comp sequence works perfect for what I’m trying to do and with the time remapping it gives me the control i need, purrrrfect!!!!!! Now I just have to tweak it with sound key-frames.

    Thanks!!!!!!!!
