    Have you updated your CS3 apps since the upgrade?

    I checked with adobe updater and it said I was up to date. I’ve downloaded every update every time adobe said I should. I’ve had other weird problems with Leopard on the G5. (But not on my old G4 powerbook.) I’m attempting to reinstall the latest system discs I can find — 10.3, and hopefully get back to 10.4.11 which was just wonderful and problem free.

    You won’t be able to go from 10.3 to 10.4.11. You have to have the 10.4 install disk to get into the realm of the Tiger (;

    So I assume all of your Apple Software Updates are installed as well? QuickTime? ProApps? Etc?

    This rarely helps anything, but have you tried using Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility to repair permissions on your System disk?

    Thanks. I’ve done every fix known to man. Apple, I must say, has been peachy. I wept and wailed and they are sending me 10.4 which I can then update to where I was. When it arrives. In a week.

    Did an archive and install of Leopard. Everything seems to be working now. Haven’t tried zaxwerx, trapcode, etc.
