  Please help converting DVCPRO HD 720p50

  Hi All,

  I have a QT file that says it’s DVCPRO HD 720p50 and I’m trying to get it down to a PAL DVD.

  I’m using everything CS4 so originally I just placed the QT into the PAL Widescreen 16:9 sequence preset, but found that I had to interpret the footage to make it look close, but the images looked squashed, causing the letterbox on screen to be bigger and people looking
  fatter.

  So then I tried to I put the file into a DVCPROHD 720p 50p sequence (footage looked fine) and then Dynamic Linked it to my Encore DVD project. In Transcode Settings I set it to use Maximum Render Quality and when the disc was done, it was a smaller version of the video with black bars on all 4 sides of the video.

  Can someone point me in the right direction please? Any help would be great.
