I need to blur out someones face in a video.
I’m using a resize/defocus on v1 .. on v2 i have same clip with animatte, draw a circle, and swap sources. I works just fine, only it’s not enough focus. How do I increase the intensity of the focus??
    THANK YOU ALL.

Why don’t you use the Blur effect instead of Resize? Then you can increase the blur to the point of total obscurity.

Also, because you said you’re using Animatte, I assume you’re on an Adrenaline. If you are, depending on when you bought it/updated it, you should have Boris Continuum Complete. If you do, look for the Witness Protection plugin–it’ll do what you’re wanting and includes a motion tracker. That makes is much easier if the person is moving a lot.

    Michael.

    I tried the blur effect.
But I can’t figure out how to adjust the itensity of the blur.
There are no sliders or buttons to play with in the blur effect editor.
    I don’t have Boris, sorry.
    thanks for the help
