playing mp4 causes Vegas Pro 13 to crash on macbook pro13” (end 2014)
I am using vegas 13, using bootcamp on a macbook pro.
all works fine apart from playback of mp4 files. (rendered in Vegas)
they play fine in VLC or in Vegas on another older macbook pro.Vegas freezes. what can I do?

I would post “media info” on the media file. Media info is an app. That way people can offer some suggestions.
Have you tried converting to another file format like xdcam, hdcam, cineform, or xavc-i?
Have you verified the mac is not overheating?
