  Playing back HD onto tape

  Hello,

  Am working on a Mac G4, 3GB RAM, Mac OsX
  with Final Cut Pro 6 and a Sony HVR-Z1U to capture/playback (also have an HD deck available).
  Settings on timeline are: Frame Size: 1440 x 1080
  Compressor: HDV 1080p25

  I ve been trying to playback my video edited in HD on to the camera but the only thing I see is a still of the current frame. When i change the settings on to DV i can see the moving images in the monitor. I have been playing around with the settings in the camera and FCP but so far haven’t found out what I am doing wrong.

  So, my question is how can i playback my HD video onto an HD tape?
