playhead position in timeline corresponding to position in program monitor, why???
Asking this question because I didn’t find an answer in Adobe’s Premiere Pro CS6 manual. And I can’t figure it out.
Why is it that when the playhead reaches the end of any sequence in the timeline, it’s at a completely different position in the program monitor??? Does anyone know why this is occurring? Is it a bug in my program?
In the image below, look at the long grey bar at the bottom of the program monitor window, the playhead is nearly at the beginning, even though it has actually reached the end of the sequence in the timeline.
Is there a fix for this?

That’s just how Premiere functions. Both endpoints on the timeline and the program monitor are not absolute, it depends on your zoom level.
