This seems like it should be a simple fix, but I can’t seem to figure it out. I am trying to send playback through the firewire cable to a deck and out of the deck to the client monitor. I am able to successfully playback all the way to the client monitor during a digital cut, but not in source/record mode. I tried turning off real-time effects to no avail. Is there a setting I need to change somewhere?

I was in blue dot mode, but I figured it out – looks like I just had to change a setting on the deck. Thanks for your help.

What deck were you using and what setting did you have to change? It might help future users if they run into the same problem and search the forums.

    Michael.

I am just using my mini-dv camcorder as a deck (Sony TRV-17). There is a setting on the camera to switch A/V in or out. Just got a second monitor and DVI to ADC converter to make it all work. So nice to have all that workspace.
