playback screen size too small for video frame
I can’t view my entire video clip during playback. I can only see about 1/2 of it. I’ve tried making it full screen, changing the playback options to an external monitor. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have Premiere Pro 5.5 on a dual monitor setup.
You can see the white frame (which is the full size of the video I’m trying to play) on the black background. I can move the video around but I can’t get the viewing area to be any larger.

Hi Amy,
The white highlight you see around the frame shows the actual size of your clip, meaning it’s larger than the settings your used for your timeline.
You can quickly fix that by right clicking on the clip and choosing scale to frame size. Or you can get more control by adjusting the scale in your effect control panel under motion controls. You can copy and paste attributes to another clip.
