  Playback on computer – slider function

  PLaying back Encore authored DVDs in Windows Media Player. Chapters are set about every 2-4 minutes, depending upon length of video.
  If you are between chapters, and you want to rewind slightly, ususally you can use the slider to move back (or forward for that matter).

  However some videos don’t let you use the slider.

  Any idea why?

  I make my m2v and audio files out of Premiere using the Main Concept encoder, if that is relevant.

  Another interesting issue we have discovered, this is using a cheapo walmart DVD player, if you hit NEXT at the end of a video, even if it is set to return to last menu, the dvd player goes to the next timeline on the disc – annoying, but probably not a common problem.
